Botulinum toxin remains the single most popular treatment in aesthetics to prevent overworking of facial muscles that create and deepen fine lines and wrinkles. It is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles to temporarily reduce lines caused by repetitive muscle movement such as frown lines between the eyebrows (glabella lines), forehead lines caused when raising your eyebrows and the area around the side of the eyes (crow’s feet). It can also be used ‘off label’ to treat other areas such as excessive visible gum when smiling, upper lip lines, downturned mouth, and a dimpled chin.

Microneedling with Skinpen
This is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that enhances overall skin texture. The handheld device uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin. In response to this, the skin will repair and generate new collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans (skin hydrators) such as hyaluronic acid. Microneedling can be combined with exosomes. Due to the creation of tiny channels, the exosomes are able to penetrate much deeper into the skin.
